Easton Douglas is dead

Former government minister and a vice president of the People's National Party, Easton Douglas died this morning. He was 81.  

Douglas served as Minister of Health, Public Service and Land Housing and the Environment at various times during the 1990s. He first entered Parliament in 1989, as the member for South East St Andrew.

Douglas, was also a former chairman of the National Housing Trust.
