Dancehall star Cutty Ranks performed at a show at a show dubbed 'Generations of Soul' at the Centre of Excellence in Port of Spain, Trinidad over the weekend.

Closing the show after earlier performances by Trinidadian artiste General Grant, and dance-pop star Shannon, Cutty Ranks delivered a commanding performance peppered with his major hits.

He immediately earned a forward for 'The Stopper', and then he dropped 'Healing of the Nation' and the crowd erupted again.

"Ah just warm mi a warm, mi not even a sweat, everybody get ready," he warned.

Then he dropped 'Rude Bwoy Number', deejaying '38, 45, that a rude bwoy number' on the Showtime riddim, and the venue erupted once again into wild cheers. He performed for at least 45 minutes, dropping classics like 'Retreat', 'Six Million Ways to Die', 'Dancehall Rock' and new hits such as 'Way to Go' featuring Beres Hammond, and his European dance hit, 'International'.

Based on the strength of his performance, Cutty Ranks immediately got three more bookings for shows in the island for the next two weeks. He will be heading back to the island in August.
