  There are reports that popular dancehall personality 'Oney British' of the British Link Up crew was shot and killed by unknown assailants riding a motorbike a few minutes after 9 p.m. Eyewitness reports say that he had left the National Stadium and was driving along Mountain View when armed men on a motorbike shot up his car. 

The car veered out of control and slammed into a column outside a popular shop. 


The Corporate Communication Unit confirmed that there had been a shooting in the vicinity of the National Stadium and that one man was dead. 


"The Stadium police detectives are processing the murder scene right now, but we are unable to confirm the identity of the man killed," a representative of the CCU said.


Earlier this week, music promoter Owen Clarke, 61, popularly known as ‘Roy Fowl’ or ‘Father Fowl', was buried at a service in Troja. He was shot and killed on February 23rd. 


Reports are that the shooting was done by two bike riders who shot Clarke several times, with his body collapsing in a bloody pool under a red Range Rover jeep parked on Grove Road in Kencot, St Andrew. The police are yet to apprehend the perpetrators involved in his death.  He was a member of the high-profile British Link Up crew known for their lavish lifestyle, high-end fashion and alcohol-swilling parties.
