Rising costs have pushed ownership to the lowest level for 30 years, a new study revealed yesterday.          

Jamaicans are furious that a man who stabbed a woman to death after having sex with her is now on the run after absconding bail. Parish Judge Tracey-Ann Johnson issued a bench warrant for his arrest on Friday. The accused, Kino Gilzene, of New Haven, in Kingston, failed to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court is now on the lam.

  The mother and stepfather of 3-year-old Nevalesia Campbell who was killed in St Ann last week, have been receiving death threats in the community, presumably by angry residents upset over the girl's death. They were refused bail in court yesterday.      

War in West Kingston, Stumbo nephew killed

A 19 year-old man was killed setting off a riot in West Kingston, with the police being called in to suppress the crowd. Shots were fired and teargas used to suppress residents who were angry over the death of the young man. The man killed is the nephew of a popular underworld figure
