$175 MILLION TO FIX ROADS

The roads are a mess after a surface trough wreaked havoc over the island this week. The Government says it has allocated $175 million in emergency funding to address critical infrastructure repairs in six of the parishes worst affected by adverse weather in recent weeks. According to Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie, the allocation is primarily to facilitate the restoration of access to communities.

A male sex worker in Old Harbour had to make a mad dash for his life when it was discovered that he was a cross-dresser by an outraged client. 

A St. Catherine man  was sentenced to 16 years at hard labour in the St Catherine Circuit Court yesterday after being convicted of sexually molesting his stepdaughter.

    Wonder if the media exploited the 15 year-old victim by broadcasting an interview when she explained the nature of her relationship with disgraced pastor Ruper Clarke. This interview might prejudice the case and actually lead to a future mistrial or the pastor being exonerated on a technicality.
