Dancehall superstar Macka Diamond will be headlining a show in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands on Christmas Eve, just one of several shows that she is booked for this Christmas.

“It has been a very successful year so far, with Dye Dye really doing well internationally and things are really looking good. I have big plans for 2014, a couple of international collaborations are also in the works," Ms. Dye Dye Macka Diamond said.
One of those plans include hosting her birthday bash 'Dye Dye Invasion' between January 10th to 12th next year.
“It’s going to be amazing, we’re in talks with sponsors right now,” she said.
In the meantime, she is pushing full speed ahead with her latest popular combination single, Mr. Touchy Touchy featuring Blacka Dan. “I performed the song at Portmore Jamboree last week, and the place tun upside down when mi call on Blacka Dan and we start deejay it, ask any deejay who work on Suncity Radio. The whole place lift up when we do it the song gone a lead,” she said. The streets are also buzzing about a new song ‘Nhingy Nhingy’, a not-yoo-subtle diss song directed at her rival, Lady Saw. IRIE disc jockey DJ Sunshine gave the song a world premiere last week and the streets are excited about the song as Sting 2013 approaches. 'Nhingy Nhingy' is a Jamaican colloquial expression that means annoying. “The song was recorded several months ago in August because me and Saw had some friction at that time but the producers just decided to put it out. People love the song, they see me in the streets and sing the chorus ‘nhingy nhingy nhingy’, too bad mi cannot get fi do it at Sting because Laing or Joe dem nuh deal with the business part right yet so mi tek another show,” Macka Diamond said. Macka Diamond topped charts all over the world with ‘Dye Dye’. She had her first successful European tour this year where she did shows in France, Switzerland and Germany. This weekend, she will leave the island for a show in Boston. She will also head to Guyana on Boxing Day for a major concert.
