Three murdered in Old Harbour Featured

Detectives from the St. Catherine North Police Division have commenced an investigation into the shooting death of three men on Old Harbour Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherin on Saturday, April 16.  



The men have been identified as:

Thirty-seven-year-old Shawn Baccas otherwise called ‘Rugo’, 58-year-old Derwin Prince otherwise called ‘Rasta’, carpenter and 37-year-old Anthony Rose otherwise called ‘Mark’ all of Old Harbour Road addresses in St. Catherine.


Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 10:00 p.m., the three men were at a bar on Old Harbour Road playing a game of dominoes when two men entered the establishment. The men reportedly ordered drinks at the bar before opening gunfire on the now deceased men. All three were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. The gunmen escaped in the area.


In the meantime, detectives are appealing to anyone with information that can assist with the investigations to contact the Spanish Town Police at 984-2305, 811 or Crime Stop at 311.
