Rickey Teetz shoots video for 'Life Goes On/Poverty" Featured

    Montego Bay-based deejay Rickey Teetz shot the music video to his popular single, Life Goes On, and Poverty, in the Corporate Area last Saturday.    "The song  has a powerful and positive message about the strength of the human mind to endure and overcome obstacles and tragedies," Rickey Teetz said. 
The video was directed by brilliant Damian Gayle who earned major props this year with Konshens' 'Gal a Bubble' video.
On July 27th, he hosted the 'Yolo Wata Party' at Cornwall Beach, and on Sunday, July 29th, he hosted 'Shapes and Shades' at the Vista Ambassador in Montego Bay.
In the past few months, Rickey Teetz has performed on the same stage with most of the big acts such has Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Aidonia, and Konshens. Rickey Teetz has also performed on major events such has Britjam Fantasy Island, Live on the Waterfront, Margaritaville's Clubville Relaunch, Jamfest, Wakesfield Jerkfest and several others. 
Teetz is a well-known party promoter, entrepreneur and father of two daughters. He finds balance between his creative life and the hectic demands of his personal and business commitments. 
"I find the time to put in continuous work in the music business and it is paying off in bookings now. I have a big fan base in the west. Many people ask how I can stay so focussed with dealing with the drama in my life, but God is always in my corner, I just channel all that energy into my music," he said.
Ricky Teetz' new single, Life Goes On, is already on regular radio rotation in Jamaica, Switzerland, parts of Africa and Panama. The single was produced by Inspired Music Concepts, while the fast-paced single 'So Wild' produced by Da Wiz Sniper is already generating a big buzz in Montego Bay.
