He performed at the Western Gala in Montego Bay, St. James on August 6th where he got good feedback for his Rich and Sports Car singles.

"Mi represent fi the people of Montego Bay and mi a look forward to some dances inna St. Thomas later this month," he said in a release.

Money Pallet grew up in the community of Yallahs. Born Maurice Omealy in the year 1972, he attended Yallahs Primary school, then Yallahs High School where he graduated, and then decided to enter the music business.

“In 1994, I was working with J. Murffi at that time. Back then, I was known as Robo Cop, “ he said.

He recorded three singles on the Jazzy Creation label distributed by Dynamics Sound. In 1999, Jazzy died, and in an attempt to reboot his career, he changed his name to Chrysla.

“However, I had a problem with the car company who barred me legally from using the name and that’s why I am going by Money Pallet now,” he explained.

Now, re-energised and reinvigorated, he is finally getting some recognition with his single, Rich.

"The future look bright," he said, laughing
