International dancehall star Macka Diamond delivered a brilliant performance at the Tantra nightclub in the island of St. Maarten over the weekend.

Hitting the stage at about 2:3 0 a.m, she immediately had the crowd rocking with 'Hula Hoop'. She invited a French Caucasian lady and a dark-skinned girl onstage to demonstrate her hula-hooping skills and to the crowd's surprise, the Caucasian lady impressed with her superior wining skills. The crowd howled its approval.

After that, Macka Diamond could do no wrong as she got rid of her high heels, then delivered 'Cowfoot', 'Done Already', 'A Yah So Nice' and the sexy 'Karma' in quick succession, earning numerous forwards. However, a high point came on the night when the familiar strains of her mega hit, Bun Him, blared out of the club's speakers. At that time, Macka flipped a switch to 'get mad' mode, jumped off the stage and began to walk through the crowd singing.

The crowd went berserk, the girls singing the song word for word. She was forced to pull up the song, once, and then started from the top, the crowd sang along through all the verses for a full three minutes. Another highlight of her performance was her rendition of her mega hit 'Dye Dye' which had the girls wining up a storm in the club. Macka Diamond also switched gears and delivered the song in Spanish. She also asked members of the crowd to come onstage to deliver the words to 'Dye Dye' in Dutch, French and creole. The crowd loved the interaction and after her performance, she spent several minutes taking pictures with enthusiastic fans. In the meantime, Macka Diamond continues to promote her 'Answer My Prayer' video which was directed by Super K studios/BOJ TV. Produced by Danny Brownie, the song has been getting a lot of radio support in recent weeks during the Yuletide season. "It's just a blessing, a lot of people who I never expected have reached out to me, from all sectors of society. This is something I wanted to do for God, and it felt great, even though I remain a strong force in the dancehall," she said. She has also started attending regular church meetings at Miracle Open Bible church in Portmore, St. Catherine. The artiste continues to generate a buzz with her single, 'Karma', which is in regular rotation on several radio stations in the USA. She is also planning her birthday party for January 10th at the Sexy Wet Sundays HQ in Spanish Town, St. Catherine. She will also be flying to Canada to host the Toronto leg of the party on January 17th.
