It is alleged the 26-year-old dancehall artiste assaulted a woman during an altercation in Stony Hill Square, St Andrew, on June 2. She was, however, slapped with an additional charge owing to her alleged bad behaviour while at the Stony Hill Police Station.

The other female involved in the incident, 23-year-old Jodian Robinson, was also charged with disorderly conduct. But her matter was not called up in court on Thursday.

According to court reports, Lisa Hyper saw Robinson walking in Stony Hill square with her baby and another woman. The artiste approached Robinson and accused her of pointing her out to another person.

Robinson, reportedly ignored Lisa Hyper, who, it is alleged, followed her and repeated poked her in her head, while threatening to beat her.

After handing her baby to a passerby, Robinson retaliated with an umbrella and the two ended up in a brawl. A woman who attempted to separate the warring women was also attacked by the artiste. Lisa Hyper received injuries to her head and left side of her face.

The two were taken to the Stony Hill Police Station where it is alleged that the deejay tried to hit Robinson with rocks, but had to be restrained. A spitting war then ensued.
