Dancehall artiste Mr Vegas has returned to the spotlight with his new, bass-thumping single, Bruck It Down, which is already creating ripples on the dancehall scene.

Vegas, who is set to release two videos this week for the Bruck It Down and Certain Law singles, has also been getting rave reviews for his thought-provoking single Certain Law, on the Barbwire rhythm. He addresses certain worrying fashion andsocial trends regarding masculinity that have stirred controversy within the dancehall community.

In the song's chorus, Vegas deejays 'Well as a man, yuh haffi know certain law, hipsters and belly skin a nuh fi gangsta, as a man yuh haffi know certain law, weave and false hair a fi Lady Saw. As a man yuh haffi know certain law, yuh caan get yuh liquor and a drink outta straw, every gangsta weh know bout di law, if yuh never wear a panty a swear to Jah Jah.'

"The Certain Law song ah shot, especially since it deals with issues that are readily discussed in bars and street corners as to what it means to be a male in today's world ... the ting ah wire dem..and the feedback from Bruck It Down shows it will be a big hit in the dancehall because the girls dem can dash out dem tings pon the song...the selectors dem a work wid it," Q45 (Vegas' manager) said in a release.
