Inspired Music Concepts recording artiste Jessie James is pleased with the response to his weed ode, Roll It Up in the streets of Jamaica.

"Roll It Up is just a great song, the people dem love it. When mi inna the street, people always respond to this song first, mi get a good impact on it, mi love the connection and vibration in the streets," Jessie James said.
The breakout single,' Roll It Up', is an ode to marijuana which has captured the imagination of the reggae-loving public. Released on the Inspired Music Concepts label on March 19, 2013, the song has been generating great airplay on IRIE FM, ZIP103 FM and Hitz 92 FM.
The video for the weed anthem was released in December, and has been put in rotation on local cable stations such as HYPE TV, RE TV, MD TV, E PLUS and CVM TV. The buzz around Jessie James has spread beyond Jamaica.
During 2013, Jessie James was able to solidify a decent underground following with his radio hit, 'Roll It Up'. The song is also doing well in the Caribbean and Europe.
In August, he embarked on a successful promotional tour in Europe where he did a couple of radio interviews, graced the stage of reggae clubs, and hooked up with well-known producers Weedy G and Johnny Roxx.
"The song I did with Johnny Roxx is called 'Dance', and it will be released along with the video in December," the talented 25-year-old singjay said.
Promoters in Europe have already begun to make overtures to get the artiste to perform at the major festivals.
