The management of dancehall superstar Aidonia would like to sincerely apologise to the Sturridge Foundation, sponsors and patrons of the 3rd Annual ‘Family Fun Day and Show’ held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Buckfields playing field in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

Booked as headliner for the event alongside other local acts, Aidonia was unable to perform due to circumstances beyond his control after feeling gravely ill moments prior to the event. Despite his team’s best efforts he was unable to honour the obligation and had to be rushed to the hospital.

According to the medical team, the deejay apparently had consumed a beverage earlier in the day containing an ingredient to which he unknowingly had an allergic reaction causing the sudden state of indisposition.

Following the swift actions of the doctors Aidonia was quickly stabilized and was kept for observation overnight at an undisclosed location.

The artiste is currently at home recuperating based on orders from his doctors.

Based on further dialogue with the medical team Aidonia is expected to make a full recovery in time for his highly anticipated concert dubbed 'THE RETURN' this Saturday, July 23 at the world renowned Amazura Night Club in Queens, New York.
