The mother, who is alleged to have placed her twin sons' fingers in a pot of boiling water, pleaded guilty when she appeared in the St. Catherine Parish court yesterday.


The court heard that Kadian Peters who is said to have been preparing a meal when her twin boys, upon her exiting the kitchen, hid and took food items from the pot.

Peters, who later noticed the food particles missing, allegedly boiled water and placed both boys' hands in it.

When she appeared before parish judge Tara Reid-Carr, it emerged that one of the boys was more serious than the other.

Her fingerprints, records and social enquiry report was ordered for sentencing on July 3, 2017.

The boys are currently residing with their father.
