Dancehall artiste Iyara released a eight-track EP dubbed 'Proven' last weekend to rave reviews from music critics and fans alike. The EP is produced by his own label, Bellevue Entertainment, and is distributed by Johnny Wonder Distribution.
The deejay who is a member of Bounty Killer's Alliance, is planning a major promotional push across Jamaica.
"We have printed up over 10,000 CDs which we ah go shell out on the road island wide. The EP has three features, one with Bounty Killer, one with Bunji Garlin, and another featuring Wayne Wonder. The EP is mixed and mastered by Neutron. The early feedback has been great so far, the Summer is off to a great start," Iyara said.
Last month, he was in the United States doing a series of promotional appearances and international bookings to promote his 'Proven' EP and is gearing up to return to do a series of shows this Summer.
"The next thing on the agenda will be my upcoming birthday celebrations on July 7th at Oneil's Place," he said.
The deejay recently released videos for songs such as 'Love You Mama' and 'Surprise'.
