"The grung hot! The song ah creep up pon dem. You know nobody no perfect, sometimes yu up, sometimes yu down, this song is about the struggles of survival in life. And yu know when we feel pain, we just head to the studio, because more time the music hit you, you feel no pain," Quick Cook said.

In 2012, Quick Cook gained international attention when a flopped dance routine at an event was featured on MTV's comedy show 'Ridiculousness'.

The artiste, while dancing with a female Japanese patron onstage during a local show, lost his balance and fell off the stage. The video of the fall quickly gained attention on social media and was funny enough to be included in the funny-video compilation on Ridiculousness, which is one of MTV's funniest and long-standing comedy shows.

Since that time, he also gained attention for doing the intro on Popcaan's popular 'Party Shot' song and a single called 'One Drop' released in 2015 also did well.

"Mi is a trying youth so mi just a persevere and push ahead with my career," he said.
