Habitual offenders who pass through the HWT-Based lower court are going to miss the dry wit and humour of Senior Parish Judge, Judith Pusey, who is heading to the Supreme Court after nearly 20 years in the lower court system.

Pusey, who has become synonymous with sittings/happenings at the Half-Way Tree-based lower court, is one of four parish court judges who will be sworn-in Friday morning by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, during a ceremony at King’s House in St Andrew.

She will be appointed to act as a puisne judge. Also gaining promotion is Simone Wolfe-Reece, the daughter of former Chief Justice Lensley Wolfe. She too will be appointed to act as a puisne judge.
