A man slapped with an illegal possession of ammunition charge was granted bail when he appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrates' court earlier this week.

Attorney-at-law Tameka Walden was successful in her bail application for the accused, Dajmuir Warlock, who is charged with illegal possession of ammunition.
Resident Magistrate Jacqueline Wilcott granted bail in the sum of $75,000 with surety.
Allegations outlined are that on October 30, 2015 at 5:05 a.m, policemen went to the premises with a warrant.
However after constantly knocking, nobody responded so they proceeded to enter the premises where the accuse was seen inside.
A search was conducted and a Cran wata bottle was found on the dresser with 38 9mm cartridges.
"Jah know star," Warlock told the lawmen when he was arrested and charged for the offence.
Warlock, a 30 year old man of a Bernard Lodge address and father of 6 children, was then granted bail with conditions that he reports to the Spanish Town police on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A stop order was also placed at all ports of exits and Warlock surrendered his travel documents.
He returns to court on February 9, 2016.
