An accused man who appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrates' court recently on possession of and dealing in ganja pleaded guilty with explanation.

Dudley Brown's explanation revealed that the three pounds of the vegetable matter was sold to help persons who rely on him for back to school funding.

When asked by RM Natalie Brooks if it was his children who benefitted from this illicit activity, a chastened Brown responded in the negative.

His SER and CIB reports were ordered and his fingerprints were taken. He will be sentenced on October 16, 2015.
