Hundreds of tearful students packed the Holy Trinity Cathedral for a thanksgiving service for the life of Dominic James, captain of St. George's College Manning Cup team, this morning. James had been pronounced dead at the University Hospital of the West Indies hospital after collapsing on the field two minutes into their game against Excelsior High school yesterday after what medical personnel suspect was a "seizure".

The moment James fell to the ground players reacted quickly and frantically signalled for medical assistance. James was motionless for a few minutes and was rushed to hospital.

James, 18, died while representing his school during a Manning Cup game against Excelsior High school at the Stadium East field.

He collapsed just two minutes after the game started and was later pronounced dead at the University Hospital of the West Indies while undergoing treatment.
