Two females had an altercation in Braeton Phase 3 in Portmore, St. Catherine in June of this year,  leaving one charged with murder, and an innocent bystander dead.

Allegations heard in court are that the confrontation between Trishana Maragh and another girl ended when she used a knife to stab at her aggressor but instead stabbed an innocent bystander in the chest who later succumbed to the injury.

When Maragh appeared in the Spanish Town RM Court she was successful in her bail application of $150,000 with surety and has been ordered to report to the Greater Portmore Police on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 6 a.m and 6pm. She will have to surrender her travel documents, and a stop order placed at all ports of exit and her fingerprints ordered.

One of the factors that worked in favour of her bail application is that she was called the station on several occasions to produce statements and didn't show any signs of being a flight risk.

Maragh will again have her case mentioned on February 16, 2016.
