Reggae artiste Nathi Prince is a fierce new voice in the world of reggae music, whose clear sparking vocals have forced FM radio to sit up and pay attention to his revolutionary lyrics.  

Reggae artiste Krystal Webb, also known as Krysiwebb, has made her name as a great live backing vocalist for reggae superstar Keith "Anthony B" Blair. Last year,  she accompanied “Anthony B' on her first European Tour covering major Reggae Festivals throughout Europe including Reggae Jam (Germany) and Kwaku (Holland).

    Dancehall artiste Klassy is generating a big buzz in the world of dancehall with the risque 'Buff', the Tuff remix especially in the Jamaican communities in London and Brixton in the UK. The buzz has prompted a UK-based label to sign her to a booking and recording deal. 

  Bishop Dr. Amos Campbell, leader of the True Vine True Holiness Ministries, believes that the brutal murder of his daughter was orchestrated "by a Seventh Day Adventist cult from the Mandeville Seventh Day Adventist Church".  He expressed the belief that a radical sect or fringe group has infiltrated the SDA church.

Lorna Goodison continues to stack up the major literary prizes, grabbing yet another prestigious honour this week.  

Residents and police investigators are puzzled at how the discovery of the decomposing body of 59-year-old Linton Stephenson, aka Jawbone, was made at his Bloomfield Circle, Mandeville, Manchester home today. It had been days since a parish-wide manhunt had been launched to find the deacon only for his grisly remains to be found at his home.

The world is confusing place right now. During the Summer, I was walking along Princess Street in downtown Kingston when I saw a strange sight. It was a male, or at least I believe it was. This gender-bender had in two pairs of earrings, his hair was braided back in cane rows, and he had bleached his face to a dirty pinkish hue, like a side of pork gone rancid. But the coup de grace was his eyebrows; he had shaved his original eyebrows and then pencilled them in a sharp upside down V (a decidedly female practice) over his eyes.  

One of Montego Bay's most wanted gunmen, 'Taliban' was gunned down by cops in a running gun fight in the community of Irwin in St. James on Wednesday morning. Another man was also killed as both allegedly engaged the police in a shootout in the wee hours of the morning. 

Gospel artiste Chozenn has remixed dancehall sensation Rygin King's 'Tuff' song. 

The body of an unidentified female was found in an igloo on the Winston Jones Highway in Manchester early yesterday morning.
