Reggae singer Nature is all smiles these days as his single, 'Preserving Nature', has been recognised as the official track for the Switerzland-based World Nature Organization (WNO).

Co-produced by 'Raz' from the disc jock duo Raz and Biggi and Nature, 'Preserving Nature' was released nearly three months ago.

"My friend Shawn from the entertainment company, Reggae Release first contacted WNO representatives, and they worked hard to make this a possibility. The organisation eventually liked the song and the video," he said in a release.
Nature, who is signed to Down Sound Records, shared the inspiration for the single.

"I wanted to do a song about nature, which is also my name, and about preserving the natural habitat for other generation to come and enjoy. So I paid homage to the Creator for his role in the environment, and in maintaining life," Nature said.

Nature's international message impressed the WNO who officially appointed the artiste as WNO Goodwill Ambassador for Jamaica. Founded in 2010, the WNO is dedicated to the protection of the environment at an international level. Nature (given name is Andre Ellis) was born in Montego, St James. He attended St James High School. He got his break in 2007 recording Searching for Love/Wasting Time and Hold On on the Heart of Love Production label. His other tracks include World Peace and Trying Man.
