It is yet another black eye for dancehall music. Kevin Reynolds, CEO of the 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution company, has been arrested and charged with a 10 year old murder. He was arrested by Federal Marshals at JFK Intentional airport in New York on Sunday morning. He had been expected to attend the company's Digital Awards show this weekend.

Kevin Reynolds was wanted for the shooting death of Winston King in front of his screaming 11-year-old daughter in Silver Spring but managed to vanish into the shadows for the past 12 years, sources said.
21st Hapilos is one of a number of companies that make up Hapilos Entertainment Group - a New York City based corporation located in the heart of mid town Manhattan with a major office in the “Golden Triangle” area of New Kingston, Jamaica. Before 21st Hapilos, there were no major digital distributors for Dancehall music, except for VP Records.
The awards is sponsored by The RJR Communications Group, Zip 103 fm, Suncity Radio, Dam Good Brownies, Hype TV, E-Plus, Dancehall Connections, MD TV, Hype TV and will feature live performances by Bugle, Konshens, Denyque, J Boog, Stylo G (from the UK) and will be backed by Di Blue Print Band. Blue Carpet begins at 6:00 pm, hosted by Deborah Bissoon. Showtime begins at 9:00 Pm, hosted by the Fame Fullhouse Crew. Admission is free, however tickets are required for entry, which can be obtained via invitations from Hapilos Entertainment or via ticket giveaways on the company's facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
