Dancehall artiste L.A. Lewis also said he was offended by Ras Myrhdak's single, and took his grouse to social media, leaving angry comments on Facebook and Twitter. However, Ras Myrhdak said his controversial lyrics were meant for entertainment purposes only.

"L.A. Lewis' name was mentioned, Rvssian's name was mentioned, Ishawna's name was mentioned and Nikki Z. But as long as people nah tek it physical, mi good. Back in the day, people would understand from the get-go that it's just entertainment, but nowadays, the artiste dem tek everything personal and want violence," he said.
