Makalon Family recording artiste Hi Moore gave a great account of himself with a lively performance at the recently concluded Western Champs event at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex in Montego Bay on February 16th.   He performed his recent radio hit, Go For Ma Goal, and got a great forward from the packed stands.
"The whole event was a great experience, the people gave me a big forward for 'Go For Ma Goal' and there were some exceptional performances
on the track from the athletes. It was great to be a part of something like that," he said.
Hi Moore has been steadily building a reputation for his high energy live performances, most notably a blistering set during the 'Red, Green and Gold Affair' at Eight Miles in Bull Bay on New Year's Eve, and
another great set at the 'More Unity' stage show in St. Catherine.
Hi Moore is now turning his attention towards the promotion of his video for his popular song, ‘Go For My Goal’ which is blowing up all over FM radio.
"Right now, we have released the 'Go For Ma Goal' video, and the goal is push Hi Moore to the next level. Since the Eight Miles show, several promoters have been linking us to get him to perform," Makalon, Hi Moore's manager, said in a release.
Born Claude Ansine, but more popularly known as Hi-Moore, this young man initially got his exposure to performing while attending the Merlene Ottey High School in Hanover.

He completed his high school education at the Merlene Ottey High school in the parish.
But music was always his first love, and that is where is making his mark. He has been gaining recognition for singles such as Wilderness”, "Fly Away" and “Broken Heart”. He has performed on a number of stage shows and entertainment events such as Sumfest during
Dancehall Night (2003).
He recently shot a video for ‘Go Sonny’, an inspirational song on a hip hop-R & B song from producers in Switzerland.
"Hi Moore ah go for his goal inna 2013," Makalon said.
