It has been a hard road for Fifth Element Records, but the recording outfit which launched some of the biggest stars in the reggae entertainment scene this century will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary this month.

The two day celebration will start on Saturday, October 30 at the C-Pac in Brooklyn and will close out on Sunday, October 31 with another concert at Macedonia Hall in Mount Vernon, New York.

Veteran singer John Holt, known for big hits like "Love Got A Hold On Me", "Stealing", "Love I Can Feel," and "If I Were A Carpenter" will be among the artist who will be attending the celebrations.

Fifth Element Records has aided in launching some of the biggest names in the business including Etana, Chuck Fenda and Richie Spice. The talented Fyakin and Ras Penco have also been influenced by them as well. The recording outfit recently inked a deal with Natural Black.

Image"We have earned a reputation over the years for our commitment to the genre and for delivering first class entertainment packages in a safe, family-oriented environment," said Devon Weathley, Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Element Records.

The anniversary event will be a reunion of sorts as it will feature Richie Spice and Chuck Fenda, two of the original acts who were initially signed to the Fifth Element Label when the label was first established.

Weathley is excited that these two talented singers will be a part of the celebration.

"We are exited about putting together this milestone event together and thrilled that Richie, Fenda - two of the acts that were there when we launched the Fifth Element vision years ago - are able to join us our current artiste Natural Black for this historic occasion," Weathley said.

The label has since helped to launch the careers of popular acts like Anthony Cruz and songbird Etana.
