Dancehall and reggae music is huge in the town of Colón, a sea port on the Caribbean Sea (Atlantic) coast of Panama. The city lies near the Caribbean Sea entrance to the Panama Canal. It is the capital of Panama's Colón Province and has traditionally been known as Panama's second city. Radio stations Hot 93.3 and Zona FM have huge listenerships and play a great deal of reggae and dancehall music, from the classics to modern day acts such as Macka Diamond, Alkaline, J Capri and Gage.
