A 5.0 earthquake rocked Jamaica at about 10:05 a.m., three minutes ago sending Jamaicans scrambling for cover and raising questions about the island's emergency management capabilities. In some cases the tremor was felt for over 10 seconds and was immediateyly followed by another tremor. one876 will have more details as this story breaks.


Members of the public have so far reported effects being felt in the parishes of Kingston & St Andrew, Clarendon, St Mary, St Catherine, St Elizabeth and St Ann.
