Anju Blaxx is a free man. The mail and wire fraud case against Jamaican music producer Anju Blaxxx was dismissed in the Federal District Court in Bismarck, North Dakota after the US attorney filed for the charges to be dropped.

Producer Anju Blaxx's legal woes have worsened as he is to appear in a US court today on lottery scam charges. 

Tommy Lee Sparta may never have to work again if he wins a US$3 million lawsuit  filed against the Government of Dominica over the cancellation of a 2014 concert caused by what is described as the “unlawful arrest, detention and deportation of the deejay and his entourage without cause.

A former Third World lead singer, William ‘Bunny Rugs’ Clark, was part of that reggae band’s signature sound. Rugs will be posthumously awarded an Order of Distinction (officer class) by the Jamaican government for his contribution to the country’s music at King’s House on October 17.

  Jamaican recording artiste Javada has a new video for his single, Wake Up Beside You, now out, recently broke into the top 100 of the Billboard charts on a song he recorded with international recording star Enrique Iglesias titled Duele el Corazon.

Dancehall star Demarco has one of the hottest singles in Jamaica, the hard-hitting new single, 'Wussah Dead to Me', has racked up 45,000 views on youtube in one week. The song takes shots at Mavado and Alkaline for throwing shade at the 'World Boss' Vybz Kartel on their track, 'Dead To Mi'. 

The penchant for Jamaicans to crack anti-homosexual jokes went a little too far on Twitter yesterday when a LASCO Affiliated Group of Companies employee tweeted "goldfish" in response to a question on what should be the Jamaica Gleaner headline for gold-medal winning Olympian Omar McLeod . There was a severe backlash with some even calling for a boycott of the brand. Lasco shut down their twitter account and now has apologised and sacked said employee for the offensive tweet.
