  Dancehall artiste Dane Ray has made a significant breakthrough as his latest singles, 'Top Jockey' and 'Punununu' are gaining traction in the dancehall-loving markets of Central and South America.   

    Steven 'Lenky' Marsden is not a big fan of labelling Dancehall as anything other than what it is, which is Dancehall Music.    For him, any intellectual debate about how the New Age Dancehall music is now being branded as Tropical House is a non starter.

Dancehall star Macka Diamond has waded into the US political debate by defending Tanya Stephens and Etana in a Facebook post. She asked Jamaicans to stop being so harsh on female artistes.    

  Reggae star Etana has decided to move her vote to the Undecided Voter column until after the end of the debates between the presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The first debate will be held on Monday night in Hempstead, N.Y.

A wild rumour is racing all over Kingston and St. Andrew that Noface Unknown was shot while leaving a studio in HWT.  "The artiste is alright, he lost his phone and someone sent a prank message that he had been shot, I don't know why people are so malicious," his manager David Brown said. 

Dancehall star Demarco is generating a lot of controversy in the industry with his latest single, 'Hot Wings', which boasts about his ability to travel and 'touch the airport road' doing shows all over the globe. It is a song that has ruffled the feathers of several artistes in the game, a significant number of whom have US work permit problems.
