Sound turned off Savage's Culu Culu video

  The copyright holder has turned off the sound on Savage's hit video, 'Culu Culu' which has generated 2 million views.

Reggae singer Peter Tosh’s music comes alive at Pulse model agency’s headquarters on Trafalgar Road in New Kingston. Tosh’s backing band Word, Sound and Power will reunite with original members for a benefit concert.

  Dancehall star Mavado goes in hard with 'Mr. Dead', making allegations of "Fagiesha Palmer inna #2 cell" and suggests that he is buying Kartel's kids ice-cream and a bagga tings. The track splices in segments of a Kartel-penned letter read by Mutabaruka on air which mention "a number 2 cell". The track sees Mavado teaming up with Stephen Mcgregor on the Horror Nights riddim.

Incarcerated dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel has racked up 660,000 views in only four days with his diss track titled ‘Round Corna’ aimed at Mavado.

Shaggy has scaled the Reggae Digital charts once again with his latest hit, 'That Love'.

Nature Ellis leaves Down Sound Records

Reggae artiste Nature Ellis has announced his departure from Down Sound Records, the second artiste in the last three months, to leave the independent label. He sent out an abrupt whatsapp message saying: "I am no longer a member of Down Sound Records; matters beyond my control".

  Actor Alec Baldwin has been absolutely killing it as Trump on the popular SNL show. He has signed on to play the controversial politician over the next couple of weeks. He even got the sniffles right!! Saturday Night Live' has returned for its 42nd season with Alec Baldwin playing Donald Trump against Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton. 

Hundreds of negative comments have been posted online about the timing of Spice's performance at the Rio reception for the exploits of Olympic athletes. Spice hit back at the criticism calling the organisers, "hypocrites".

  Shabba Ranks is the Emperor of dancehall music. Known for hit singles such as Mr Loverman, House Call, Trailer Load A Girls, Wicked Inna Bed, Caan Dun, and Ting A Ling, the iconic deejay will be awarded an Order of Distinction (OD) at the rank of officer by the Jamaican government for his contribution to music. The ceremony will take place at King’s House in St Andrew.  

Producer Danny Champagnie is dead

Popular music producer Donald Grant better known as Danny Champagnie, died on Saturday. He died as a result of complications from a stroke he suffered in 2013. He was 65 years old. He produced Voice Mail's first number one song Weh Di Time and the follow-up hit Ready to Party. He also producers D'Angel's 'Downtown Girl'.
