Reggae artiste I Atom is generating a huge buzz with her new collaboration single, 'Ganja Call', featuring dancehall star Capleton which stresses the medicinal qualities and the healing powers of the marijuana plant.  The song has been blowing up FM radio since its release on the Virtuous Voice Production label, on January 7th this year.

  Jamaican reggae star Jimmy Cliff will be embarking on his first major international tour in two years. The tour will start in March and end in October.

    Reggae icon Bob Marley's only Grammy nomination came in 2002, more than two decades after his death for best Long Form Music Video. Though the main reason the music legend most likely did not win prior, was that a reggae category wasn't added until 1985. Over the years, there have been many debates about winners and talk about a Marley lock on the top award with Ziggy Marley notching no fewer than seven notches, Stephen Marley three nods, and Damian Marley three as well. This year's debate over Damian Marley's win over Chronixx's deserving bid got the team  thinking about other albums that were perhaps overlooked over the years.
